Gregg Sulzer

Gregg has a passion for helping people get over their difficulties and transitions. With over 25 years of guiding teens and adults in their life journeys through his tennis and music careers, he knows what it takes to get a message across to people.

He’s also been in your teen’s stressful shoes before.

Gregg’s Story

When he was 16 years old, he watched his father go from a distinguished therapist to an alcoholic cab driver virtually overnight. His father wasn't just distinguished but also extremely successful. Gregg spent summers at a beach house in the Hamptons and winters at a ski chalet in Vermont. Unbeknownst to any one in his family, the reason his family was living such a lavish lifestyle was because his dad had been stealing money from his patients.

His father went bankrupt, the bank took their family home and he went to jail for a little while. With ostensibly no money, Gregg needed to figure out a way to make a living  quick. The only thing he knew how to do back then was play tennis really well. So he figured maybe he could make some money teaching it.

Having to go through his teenager years figuring out how to support himself financially, while living in an apartment with an alcoholic parent, and almost no honest, open, emotional communication, he learned some valuable lessons when it came to going through transitions and enduring hardship.

Gregg’s written a book of questions to help both parents and their children make sense of the extremely disquieting and tumultuous teenager years with a more open and heart centered approach. He looks forward to helping you navigate whatever challenges life has thrown at you so far.
