Welcome to GWS Coaching
Welcome!
My name is Gregg Sulzer, owner of GWS Coaching. Let me tell you a story.
There was this sixteen year old boy who grew up with all the gifts a child could want, a loving family, a successful doctor father, a beautiful home, support for all his dreams, and the belief that things would always stay that way. But one day he came from school and was told he was moving out of the home he’d grown up in. The bank was taking the home. The family moved to a two bedroom apartment with no phone and no heat. His doctor father was no longer going to his office. He was driving a cab, coming home, getting drunk, fighting with his mom and passing out. And all the support for his dreams were over. He started working to put food in his mouth and clothes on his back. His parents got divorced and his father left the family, never to return. This is my story .
That was the first of a number of major life transitions that I’ve had to overcome. My relationship with my parents had dissolved to almost nothing. So I had to rebuild that from the bottom up, and I have made it my mission to teach parents and teens how to reconnect with each other.
How GWS Coaching Works?
The teenage years can be extremely difficult to navigate for many parents and children. Depending upon the nature of the dynamics between you and your child, the rupture in the relationship can go from mild animosity to full blown disconnection. In our work together we will focus on re-establishing the core values of trust and safety between you.
How will we do this?
With strength, patience, love and lots of work.
Work on gaining communication skills that foster more openness, honesty and trust in the family.
My goal is to arrive at a place where both you and your child feel seen, heard and valued for who you are.
I like to say “life is change, growth is optional”.
